I started this blog when I got to Costa Rica so I wouldn’t have to send mutltiple e-mails about my trip. Due to the lack of wireless Internet at my hostel and lack of desire to leave my amazing hostel I have not posted anything until today. I will try to post something at least every couple days to keep everyone updated.
As many of you know I came down here to work for a local newspaper called Voz de Nosara (The Voice of Nosara). I will be writing a few articles for them and leaving for Santa Teresa shortly because of unexpected changes in the newspaper office and my desire to travel around rather than be tied to one area. This is the perfect way to go about it. I get to have a few stories published in the paper for my resume and portfolio (the reason I volunteered in the first place) then I get to spend the rest of my time traveling, learning to surf and doing whatever else I want.
